Students from the Claremont Colleges and colleagues from Broadcom Corporation joined me during the fieldwork. Greg Fong, Aaron Stratton, and Avi Thaker were especially regular. My long-time climbing buddy, Craig Clarence, was excellent canyoneering company. My sons, Benjamin, Samuel, and Abraham, were my most frequent companions, hiking or mountain biking with me for 53 delightful days on the trail.
